of electrical engineering specialisations:
- LV
Power design, build, compliance and certification.
- Industrial
Automation Systems Integration: PLC, HMI and Scada implementations
across most
hardware platforms from conception to commission. Largely
brand-independent.
- Compliance
and Certification: AS/NZS standards, IEC, UL and CSA standards and
assessment
of products and installations for compliance, certification/work with
testing
labs to obtain certification for electrical products.
- Electronics
& Microcontroller-based Product Design: design of digital, analogue
and
power-electronic circuits and systems using current technologies and
components. PCB and hardware design, microcontroller coding. Prototype
construction and design for manufacture.
- Horticultural
Technology Systems: Scoping, design, build, commissioning and support
of
automation and instrumentation systems for greenhouses and artificially
lit
installations. Lighting technology (HID and LED, hydroponic systems
(NFT,
aeroponic) and control/monitoring of same, atmospheric (temp, %RH, CO2
etc)
monitoring and control, overall system design, project management.
- Project
Management: Our engineer trained to IPENZ Registration level, and
regards
competent project management as a foundational skill.
- Electrical
Product Design & Development: from industrial heating controllers
and
temperature-controlled bee transporters to advanced LED lighting
designs, we
combine solid product R&D experience with an extensive network of
engineering partners and subcontractors to produce industry-leading
product
solutions.
